About
Welcome to my store!
I am Hila Fersi, a creator and artist who specializes in macrame, crochet and jewelry. Since I can remember, art has been an inseparable part of me. Already at the age of 7 I opened my first jewelry stand, and since then I have not stopped creating. In high school I studied stage design, after which I continued to study art instruction at Wurzberger College, where I was exposed to the world of micro macrame and fell in love with techniques that combine threads and creativity
infinite. I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in education and art with honors at the Open University. This professional progress led me to open my own business - and immerse myself even more in doing and creating.
Macrame, a field rich in history, born in the Middle East and integrated over the years into different cultures, including Moroccan art, to which I also have a personal and cultural connection. My grandmother, who immigrated to Israel from Morocco in the 1950s, affectionately called me "Lala Fshasha" - a spoiled princess, in slang. This name continues to accompany me to this day thanks to my partner, and from there the name of my business was also born.
Macrame has always been considered an art that combines aesthetics and functionality by using tying techniques to create a unique textile. It brings warmth and a sense of nature into any space, and blends wonderfully into any style - from rustic design, through boho chic to a modern and minimalist look with neutral colors and geometric shapes.
I am self-taught, and I acquired most of my techniques from self-learning. Self-learning and the desire to learn and develop every day allow my business to grow and renew itself. I find my inspiration in nature, on trips and on a quest for the hottest trends in the world of interior design.
In my shop you can find unique items that were made by hand - each item is unique and includes all my attention to the smallest details.
I believe that every product should tell a story, radiate warmth and bring something personal and real into every home. I invite you to observe, be impressed, and take home a work that is full of love and attention. Thanks for supporting local art!
with love,
Lala Fshasha.
